By Paul Isaacs, Managing Director
Generator Group recently marked its 13th year in business. The property market has seen many changes since I started the company at the beginning of 2006, but as a business we are in a strong position and, as we move into 2019, we are excited about the year ahead. We have a growing pipeline of new developments coming through, but it is not our ambition to become a volume housebuilder – we are, and intend to remain, a niche developer whose expertise and flexibility means that we can take on challenging sites and tailor our approach to each project so that we deliver first class results.
Our portfolio continues to be varied both geographically and in size and type of development. This year we have a number of developments launching including Laureate Fields in Felixstowe and the Chocolate Factory in Bristol. The South West remains a particular area of interest for us and we have recently appointed a new development director to seek out more opportunities in the region. We are also proactively targeting new sites via Generator Strategic Land, a joint venture with investment group Topland.
In line with our aims to keep the business moving forward, we have recently unveiled our new corporate brand and relaunched our website with a fresh new look – please have a browse while you are here and let us know what you think. We would not be here today without our experienced and committed team – I’d like to thank them all for their hard work and I am already looking forward to the next thirteen years.
